Tiffen 62MM Digital Diffusion FX 4
The Tiffen 62mm Digital Diffusion/FX 4 filter is a softening and diffusion filter specially designed to appear invisible, as if no filtration were applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no glare or loss of contrast for more subtle applications. It helps to reduce facial blemishes, wrinkles and gently softens textured backgrounds whilst maintaining sharp focus. Density 4 provides more softening than 3, but less than 5.
This filter is constructed of Water White glass and is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to within 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting it on precision metal rings.
