The Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 4 6.6 x 6.6" Filter helps reduce the intensity of highlights whilst slightly lowering overall contrast. This filter is particularly useful for softening and reducing facial wrinkles and other blemishes. Whilst designed for cinematographic use, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. Unlike a traditional diffusion or blur filter, Pro-Mist filters result in very little loss of detail across the entire image. The density 4 offers a very noticeable reduction in contrast and highlights, allowing for a soft, pastel light quality.

Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 optical glass plates and polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 6.6 x 6.6" / 167.6 x 167.6 mm.
