The Tiffen Glimmerglass 1 6.6 x 6.6" Filter is a dual-function beautifying filter: in addition to modifying the appearance of the image itself, it has a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, which inspires greater confidence in the model. The filter itself helps soften skin details, imperfections, and wrinkles. It also produces luminous highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal appearance. Grade 1 provides more softening than 1/2, but less than grade 2.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishing it flat to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch. This filter measures 6.6 x 6.6" / 167.6 x 167.6 mm.
