The Tiffen 6.6 x 6.6" Glimmerglass 1/2 Filter is an enhancement filter that serves a dual purpose: in addition to altering the appearance of the image itself, it features a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, which instils greater confidence in the model. The filter itself helps to soften skin details, blemishes and wrinkles. It also produces luminous highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal look. The 1/2 density offers more softening than the 1/4, but less than the 1.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that laminates the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishes it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 6.6 x 6.6" / 167.6 x 167.6 mm.
