The Tiffen Glimmerglass 4 6.6 x 6.6" filter is a dual-purpose enhancement filter: in addition to modifying the appearance of the image itself, it has a sparkling aspect when viewed from the front, which inspires greater confidence in the subject. The filter itself helps soften skin detail, blemishes and wrinkles. It also produces brilliant highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal appearance. Density 4 provides more softening than 3, but less than 5.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 6.6 x 6.6" / 167.6 x 167.6 mm.
