The Tiffen Digital Diffusion/FX 2 6.6 x 6.6" filter is a softening and diffusion filter specifically designed to be invisible, as if no filtration were applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no flare or loss of contrast for more subtle applications. It helps to reduce facial imperfections, wrinkles and gently softens textured backgrounds whilst maintaining sharp focus. Density 2 provides more softening than 1, but less than 3.

This filter is manufactured from Water White glass and is produced using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 6.6 x 6.6" / 167.6 x 167.6 mm.
