The Tiffen T Series 6.6 x 6.6" T1/2 IR white glass filter helps optimise the operation of high-performance digital cameras with a wide colour gamut and enhanced red response such as the ARRI Alexa, Sony EX series, etc. This T series filter eliminates far red/near infrared contamination that can appear in photographs due to certain industrial dyes present in fabrics. This IR filter uses ColorCore technology.nnWith the T1/2 IR filter in place, capturing subtle red nuances is effortless. By using this IR correction filter, the camera can deliver crisp blacks and the wide colour gamut for which it was designed, with minimal light loss.
