Unlike a traditional diffusion or blur filter, Pro-Mist filters result in little loss of image detail. Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 sheets of optical glass and polishing it to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch.
