The Tiffen Series 9 Glimmerglass 1 filter is a dual-function beauty filter: in addition to modifying the appearance of the image itself, it also has a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, thus inspiring more confidence in the model. The filter itself helps to soften skin details, blemishes and wrinkles. It also produces bright highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal appearance. The density 1 offers slight softening and overall image modification.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings. This filter is compatible with Series 9 filter holders.
