The Sigma 46mm UV WR filter is a versatile clear filter that helps absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish tint of daylight. This filter is particularly useful when shooting at high altitude or near bodies of water. It adds no extra colouring or contrast, allowing you to combine it with other filters.

A UV filter is also useful as a general protection filter to leave permanently on the lens. This filter helps reduce dust and moisture that could reach the front element of your lens and provides additional protection in the event of a drop or situations where scratches could occur.

This Sigma UV WR filter is treated to repel water droplets and resist fingerprints. It is also treated to exhibit antistatic properties to prevent microscopic dust from adhering to the front surface. This helps ensure sharp images.
