The Sigma 72mm WR UV filter is a versatile clear filter that helps absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the blue cast of daylight. This filter is particularly useful when shooting at altitude or near bodies of water. No additional colouration or contrast is added, allowing you to combine this filter with others.

A UV filter is also useful as a general protection filter to leave permanently on the lens. This filter helps reduce dust and moisture that could reach the front element of the lens and provides additional protection in the event of a drop or situations where scratches could occur.

This Sigma WR UV filter is treated to repel water droplets and resist fingerprints. It is also treated to have antistatic properties preventing microscopic dust from adhering to the front surface. This helps to ensure sharp images.
