The Sigma 95mm WR UV filter is a clear, general-purpose filter that helps absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. This filter is particularly useful for photographing at high altitudes or around bodies of water. It does not add any additional colouration or contrast, allowing you to combine it with other filters.

A UV filter is also useful as a general protection filter to be left on the lens permanently. This filter helps reduce dust and moisture that could reach the front element of your lens and provides additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratches might occur.

This Sigma WR UV filter is treated to repel water droplets and resist fingerprints. It is also treated to have anti-static properties to prevent microscopic dust from adhering to the front surface. This helps ensure sharp images.
