The Tiffen Multi Rota Tray Variable Neutral Density Kit is a unique geared rotating tray that allows the simultaneous use and rotation of a 138 mm circular polarising filter and a 4 x 5.65" circular polariser. The tray is designed for use with matte boxes that do not have a rotating filter stage, or for cases where a second rotating filter stage is required in a non-rotating stage. It can be used with only the included 138 mm geared circular polariser, or paired with the included 4 x 5.65" circular polariser to function as a variable neutral density filter or to produce warm/cool effects, depending on the direction in which the tray and 4 x 5.65" filter are oriented. An additional 4 x 5.65" circular polariser is included. The Multi Rota Tray fits matte boxes compliant with the ARRI R2 tray standard and its geared adjustment offers precise control by hand or with a 0.8 MOD gear wheel (32 pitch) on a follow focus. It comes in a robust, compartmentalised storage case for protection and easy transport of the tray and included filters.
