Tiffen 34mm UV Protection Filter
The Tiffen 34mm UV protection filter is a general-purpose clear filter that helps to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish tint of daylight. This filter is especially useful when photographing at high altitude or near bodies of water. It adds no additional colouration or contrast, allowing you to combine it with other filters.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protection filter to leave on lenses permanently. Filters help to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratches could occur.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
