Tiffen 43 mm UV Protection Filter

The Tiffen 43 mm UV Protection Filter is a versatile clear filter that helps to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the blue cast of daylight. This filter is especially useful when shooting at high altitude or near bodies of water. No additional colouring or contrast is provided, allowing you to combine this filter with others.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protection filter to be left permanently on lenses. Filters help to reduce dust and moisture that could reach your lens and provide additional protection in the event of drops or situations where scratches could occur.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
