Tiffen Bay 60 UV Protection Filter
The Tiffen Bay 60 UV Protection Filter is a versatile clear filter that helps to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. This filter is particularly useful when shooting at high altitude or near bodies of water. No additional colouration or contrast is provided, allowing you to pair it with other filters.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave permanently on lenses. Filters help to reduce dust and moisture that could reach your lens and offer additional protection in the event of drops or situations where scratches could occur.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings. This filter is compatible with lenses equipped with bayonet mounts, such as those manufactured by Hasselblad or Rollei.
