Tiffen 43mm UV Haze 1 Filter
The Tiffen 43mm UV Haze 1 Filter is a clear general-purpose filter that helps to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the blue cast of daylight. This filter is particularly useful when shooting at high altitude or near bodies of water. No additional colouration or contrast is provided, allowing you to combine it with other filters.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to be left permanently on lenses. Filters help to reduce dust and moisture reaching your lens and provide additional protection in the event of drops or situations where scratches could occur.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting it on precision metal rings.
