Tiffen 46mm Skylight 1-A Filter 
 
The Tiffen 46mm Skylight 1-A Filter is a versatile filter with a slight pink tint to improve overall colour accuracy and clarity. The pink colouring helps reduce the overall bluish cast of daylight and is particularly effective for landscape and shaded photography.
The Sky 1A filter is also useful as a general protection filter to leave permanently on lenses. Filters help reduce dust and moisture that may reach your lens element and provide additional protection in the event of drops or situations where scratches could occur.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
