Tiffen 58mm Skylight 1-A Filter

The Tiffen 58mm Skylight 1-A Filter is a general-purpose filter with a slight pink tint to improve overall colour accuracy and clarity. The light pink colouring helps reduce the overall bluish cast of daylight and is particularly effective for photographing landscapes and in the shade.
The Sky 1A filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave permanently on lenses. Filters help reduce dust and moisture that could reach your lens and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratches could occur.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting on precision metal rings.
