The Tiffen 67mm 0.3 neutral density filter is a uniform ND filter with a 2x filter factor that provides an exposure reduction of 1 stop. Its density of 0.3 creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing down your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can control depth of field and convey motion more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the colouration of the image and are ideal for use with other filters.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that laminates the filter substrate between 2 optical glass plates, grinds it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounts it in precision metal rings.
