Tiffen 77 mm 1.2 Neutral Density Filter
 
The Tiffen 77 mm 1.2 Neutral Density Filter is a uniform ND filter with a 16x filter factor that provides 4 stops exposure reduction. Its 1.2 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can more easily control depth of field and convey movement. Neutral density filters do not affect image colouration and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting it on precision metal rings.
