Tiffen 52 mm Neutral Density 2.1 Filter 
 
The Tiffen 52 mm Neutral Density 2.1 Filter is a uniform ND filter with a 128x filter factor that provides a 7-stop exposure reduction. Its 2.1 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing down your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can control depth of field and more easily convey movement. Neutral density filters do not affect the colouration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
This filter is constructed from Water White glass and is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process which involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting it in precision metal rings.
