Tiffen 52mm 812 Warming Filter
Ideal for portraits, the Tiffen 52mm 812 Warming Filter is used to enhance skin tones when shooting in cold lighting conditions. This filter offers a warming effect superior to a Skylight 1-A filter and is perfectly suited for outdoor use in cloudy or sunny weather when working in the shade. It can also be used to absorb the strong blue cast of electronic flash for more balanced and natural skin tones.
The filter is constructed using Tiffen's ColorCore technology, which consists of laminating the filter material between two plates of optical glass, ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and mounted in an aluminium alloy ring.
- The warming filter enhances skin tones when shooting outdoors in cloudy weather or in the shade on sunny days.
- Absorbs the blue cast caused by electronic flash for more natural results.
- ColorCore technology, which permanently laminates the filter material between two plates of optical glass, maintains image clarity, precision and consistency.
