Tiffen 812 67 mm Warming Filter
Ideal for portraits, the Tiffen 67 mm 812 Warming Filter is used to enhance skin tones when shooting in cold lighting conditions. This filter offers a warming effect superior to that of a skylight 1-A filter and is perfect for outdoor use in overcast weather or on sunny days when working in the shade. It can also be used to absorb the strong blue cast of electronic flash to achieve more balanced and natural skin tones.
The filter is constructed using Tiffen's ColorCore technology, which involves laminating the filter material between two pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and mounting it in an aluminium alloy ring.
- The warming filter enhances skin tones when shooting outdoors in overcast weather or in the shade on sunny days.
- Absorbs the blue cast caused by electronic flash for more natural results.
- ColorCore technology, which permanently laminates the filter material between two pieces of optical glass, maintains image clarity, precision and consistency.
