Tiffen 72mm 812 Warming Filter
Ideal for portraits, the Tiffen 72mm 812 Warming Filter is used to enhance skin tones when shooting in cold lighting conditions. This filter offers a warming effect superior to that of a skylight 1-A filter and is particularly suitable for outdoor use in overcast conditions or in sunny conditions when working in the shade. It can also be used to absorb the strong blue cast of electronic flash for more balanced and natural skin tones.
The filter is manufactured using Tiffen's ColorCore technology, which involves laminating the filter material between two pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch, and mounting it in an aluminium alloy ring.
- The warming filter enhances skin tones when shooting outdoors in overcast conditions or in the shade on sunny days.
