Tiffen 82 mm 812 Warming Filter
 
Ideal for portraiture, the Tiffen 82 mm 812 warming filter is used to enhance skin tones when shooting under cool lighting. This filter offers a warming effect superior to that of a 1-A skylight filter and is perfectly suited for outdoor use in overcast weather or in sunny weather when working in the shade. It can also be used to absorb the strong blue cast of electronic flash for more balanced and natural skin tones.
The filter is constructed using Tiffen's ColorCore technology, which involves laminating the filter material between two sheets of optical glass, ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and mounted in an aluminium alloy ring.
- The warming filter enhances skin tones when shooting outdoors in overcast weather or in the shade in sunny weather.
- Absorbs the blue cast caused by electronic flash for more natural results.
- ColorCore technology, which permanently laminates the filter material between two sheets of optical glass, maintains image clarity, accuracy and uniformity.
