Tiffen 81A 62 mm Light Balancing Filter
 
The Tiffen 81A 62 mm Light Balancing Filter allows you to reduce the colour temperature by 200K to slightly warm the image to match the colour quality of the lighting. By using an 81A filter, you can achieve a balance of 3200K when the predominant light source is 3400K. The warming effect of this filter requires an exposure increase of 0.3 stop for normal results.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
- Light balancing filter reduces colour temperature and provides a warming effect.
- Subtracts 200K to achieve a colour balance of 3200K from 3400K lighting.
- Filter factor of 1.3 requires an exposure increase of 0.3 stop.
