Tiffen 812 Wide Angle Warming Filter 67mm
 
Ideal for portraiture, the Tiffen 812 Wide Angle Warming Filter 67mm is used to enhance skin tones when shooting in cold lighting conditions. This filter provides a more pronounced warming effect than a Skylight 1-A filter and is particularly suitable for outdoor use in overcast weather or in sunny conditions when shooting in shade. It can also be used to absorb the strong blue cast of electronic flash for more balanced and natural skin tones.
The filter is constructed using Tiffen's ColorCore technology, which involves laminating the filter material between two optical glass plates, ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and mounted in an aluminium alloy ring. The wide-angle version of this filter features a thinner, lower profile design compared to the standard version and has no front threading to reduce vignetting risks when used with wide-angle lenses.
