Tiffen 82mm 81A Light Balancing Filter
 
The Tiffen 82mm 81A Light Balancing Filter allows you to decrease colour temperature by 200K to slightly warm the image to match the colour quality of the lighting. When using an 81A filter, you will be able to achieve a 3200K balance when the dominant light source is 3400K. The warming effect of this filter requires a 0.3 stop increase to achieve normal results.
This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 optical glass plates, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
- The light balancing filter decreases colour temperature and produces a warming effect.
- Subtracts 200K to achieve a 3200K colour balance from 3400K lighting.
- The 1.3 filter factor requires a 0.3 stop exposure increase.
