Tiffen 58 mm 85 Colour Conversion Filter

The Tiffen 58 mm 85 Colour Conversion Filter helps to reduce the colour temperature from 5500 to 3400K, allowing tungsten-balanced film to be used in daylight conditions. The warming effect of this filter requires a 0.6 stop exposure increase for normal results.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
- The colour conversion filter reduces colour temperature and provides a warming effect.
- Converts from 5500 to 3400K for using tungsten-balanced film in daylight conditions.
- Filter factor 1.6 requires an exposure increase of 0.6 stops.
