Tiffen 52 mm Warm UV Filter
 
The Tiffen 52 mm Warm UV Filter is a general-use clear filter that helps to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. This filter is especially useful when shooting at high altitude or around bodies of water. No additional contrast is provided, allowing you to pair this filter with others.
This filter also offers the effects of an 812 filter to add more warmth to images to create more pleasant skin tones. It neutralises the blue casts of electronic flash, overly shaded conditions and other dominant cool colourings.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to be left permanently on lenses. Filters help reduce dust and moisture that could reach your lens element and provide additional protection in the event of drops or situations where scratches could occur.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
