Tiffen 85B 55mm Colour Conversion Filter
The Tiffen 85B 55mm Colour Conversion Filter reduces the colour temperature from 5500 to 3200K, allowing the use of tungsten-balanced films in daylight conditions. The warming effect of this filter requires an exposure increase of 0.6 stop for normal results.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch, and then mounting it on precision metal rings.
- The colour conversion filter reduces the colour temperature and produces a warming effect.
- Converts from 5500 to 3200K for the use of tungsten-balanced films in daylight conditions.
- The filter factor of 1.6 requires an exposure increase of 0.6 stop.
