Tiffen 55mm UV Haze 2A Filter
An ideal protective filter for outdoor use, the Tiffen 55mm UV Haze 2A is a clear UV filter that helps to reduce haze and unwanted blue casts when shooting at high altitude or near water. The 2A density of this filter is more effective than the standard Haze-1 filter at reducing haze and is particularly suited to aerial and drone photography applications. Additionally, as a clear filter, it can also be used as general protection for the front of your lens against scratches, fingerprints, dust and other elements.
The filter is constructed using Tiffen's ColorCore technology, which involves laminating the filter material between two optical glass elements, ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and mounted in an aluminium alloy mount.
- Absorbs virtually all UV light and reduces the bluish cast of daylight.
- More effective haze reduction than the Haze-1 filter.
- The clear filter adds no additional colouration or contrast, allowing it to be combined with other filters.
