Tiffen 85B 58mm Colour Conversion Filter
The Tiffen 85B 58mm Colour Conversion Filter helps reduce the colour temperature from 5500 to 3200K, allowing the use of tungsten-balanced film in daylight conditions. The warming effect of this filter requires an exposure increase of 0.6 stops to achieve normal results.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
- The colour conversion filter reduces colour temperature and provides a warming effect.
- Converts 5500 to 3200K for using tungsten-balanced film in daylight conditions.
- The 1.6 filter factor requires an exposure increase of 0.6 stops.
