Tiffen 81C 62mm Light Balancing Filter 
 
The Tiffen 81C 62mm Light Balancing Filter helps to decrease colour temperature by 400K to slightly warm the image to match the colour quality of the lighting. When using an 81C filter, you will be able to obtain a balance of 3200K when the dominant light source is 3600K. The warming effect of this filter requires an exposure increase of 0.3 stops for normal results.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
- Light balancing filter decreases colour temperature and produces a warming effect.
- Subtracts 400K to obtain a colour balance of 3200K from 3600K lighting.
- Filter factor of 1.3 requires an exposure increase of 0.3 stops.
