Tiffen 67 mm 81C Light Balancing Filter

The Tiffen 67 mm 81C Light Balancing Filter reduces the colour temperature by 400K to slightly warm the image to match the colour quality of the lighting. When using an 81C filter, you can achieve a balance of 3200K when the dominant light source is 3600K. The warming effect of this filter requires an exposure increase of 0.3 stops for normal results.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that laminates the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinds it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounts it in precision metal rings.
- The light balancing filter reduces the colour temperature and produces a warming effect.
- Subtracts 400K to achieve a colour balance of 3200K from 3600K lighting
- The filter factor of 1.3 requires an exposure increase of 0.3 stops.
