Tiffen 81EF 67 mm Light Balancing Filter
The Tiffen 81EF 67 mm Light Balancing Filter helps decrease colour temperature by 650K to slightly warm the image to match the colour quality of the lighting. When using an 81EF filter, you will be able to achieve a 3200K balance when the dominant light source is 3850K. The warming effect of this filter requires an exposure increase of 0.6 stops for normal results.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
- The light balancing filter decreases colour temperature and provides a warming effect.
- Subtracts 650K to achieve a colour balance of 3200K from 3850K lighting.
- The filter factor of 1.5 requires an exposure increase of 0.6 stops.
