Tiffen 82mm UV Haze 2A Filter
An ideal protective filter for outdoor use, the Tiffen 82mm UV Haze 2A Filter is a clear UV filter that helps reduce haze and unwanted blue casts when shooting at high altitudes or near water. This filter's 2A power is more effective than the standard Haze-1 filter at reducing haze and is particularly suited to aerial and drone photography applications. Additionally, as a clear filter, it can also be used as general protection for the front of your lens, protecting it from scratches, fingerprints, dust, and other elements.
The filter is manufactured using Tiffen's ColorCore technology, which involves laminating the filter material between two pieces of optical glass, grinding it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and mounting it in an aluminium alloy ring.
- Absorbs virtually all UV light and reduces the blue cast of daylight.
- More effective haze reduction than the Haze-1 filter.
