Tiffen 52mm 81 Light Balancing Filter
 
The Tiffen 52mm 81 Light Balancing Filter helps decrease colour temperature by 100K to slightly warm the image to match the colour quality of the lighting. By using an 81 filter, you will be able to achieve a 3200K balance when the dominant light source is 3300K. The warming effect of this filter requires a 0.3-stop exposure increase for normal results.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
- The light balancing filter decreases colour temperature and provides a warming effect.
- Subtracts 100K to achieve 3200K colour balance from 3300K lighting.
- The 1.3 filter factor requires a 0.3-stop exposure increase.
