Tiffen 55 mm Center Spot Filter
The Tiffen 55 mm Center Spot filter is a softening filter that allows you to maintain sharp, clear focus in the centre of the image whilst blurring the perimeter of the frame. This helps isolate your main subject whilst softening the surrounding areas.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
- The transparent central area of the filter keeps subjects in the middle of the frame sharp whilst softening the surrounding areas.
- Helps isolate the subject and reduce distracting backgrounds.
