Tiffen 58mm Center Spot Filter
The Tiffen 58mm Center Spot Filter is a softening filter that allows you to maintain sharp and clear focus in the centre of the image whilst blurring the perimeter of the frame. This helps to isolate your central subject whilst softening the surrounding areas.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
- The clear central area of the filter keeps subjects in the middle of the frame sharp whilst softening the surrounding areas.
- Helps isolate the main subject and subdue distracting backgrounds.
