The Tiffen 62 mm Center Spot filter is a softening filter that allows you to maintain sharp and clear focus in the centre of the image whilst blurring the perimeter of the frame. This helps to isolate your central subject whilst softening the surrounding areas.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that laminates the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishes it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounts it in precision metal rings.
- The clear central area of the filter maintains sharpness of subjects in the middle of the frame whilst softening the surrounding areas.
- Helps to isolate the subject and reduce distracting backgrounds.
