The Tiffen 52mm Glimmerglass 1 Filter is a dual-function beauty filter: in addition to modifying the appearance of the image itself, it has a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, inspiring greater confidence in the model. The filter itself helps to soften skin details, blemishes and wrinkles. It also produces bright highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal appearance. Density 1 offers slight softening and overall modification of the image.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
