Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 2 62mm Filter

The Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 2 62mm filter helps to reduce the intensity of highlights whilst slightly decreasing overall contrast. This filter is particularly useful for smoothing and softening facial wrinkles and other imperfections. Whilst designed for cinematographic use, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. Unlike a traditional diffusion or blur filter, Pro-Mist filters retain most of the image detail. Density 2 provides greater highlight and contrast reduction than density 1, but less than 3, whilst providing a soft, pastel light quality.
Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
