Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/8 72mm Filter

The Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/8 72mm filter helps reduce the intensity of highlights whilst slightly decreasing overall contrast. This filter is particularly useful for softening and diminishing facial wrinkles and other imperfections. Whilst designed for cinematographic use, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. Unlike a traditional diffusion or blur filter, Pro-Mist filters result in minimal detail loss across the entire image. The 1/8 density offers less contrast and highlight reduction than the 1/4, whilst providing a soft, pastel light quality.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
