The Tiffen Smoque 2 72 mm Filter is a unique diffusion filter that imparts a hazy, smoky quality to your images, simulating the effects of a smoke or fog machine. This filter is ideal for situations where smoke would typically be present but is not available. Density 2 produces more smoke effect than density 1, but less than density 3.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
