Tiffen 77mm Black Pro-Mist 2 Filter

The Tiffen 77mm Black Pro-Mist 2 Filter helps reduce the intensity of highlights whilst slightly lowering overall contrast. This filter is particularly useful for smoothing and softening facial wrinkles and other blemishes. Whilst designed for cinematographic use, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. Unlike a traditional diffusion filter or soft focus filter, Pro-Mist filters preserve image detail. Density 2 offers more contrast and highlight reduction than 1, but less than 3, whilst maintaining a soft, pastel light quality.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting it in precision metal rings.
