Tiffen 62mm Digital Diffusion/FX 1 Filter

The Tiffen 62mm Digital Diffusion/FX 1 Filter is a softening and diffusion filter specifically designed to appear invisible, as if no filtration were applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no flare or contrast loss for more subtle applications. It helps to soften facial imperfections, wrinkles and gently smooth textured backgrounds whilst maintaining sharp focus. The 1 density offers more softening than the 1/2, but less than the 2.
This filter is constructed from water white glass and is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it flat to within 1/10,000th of an inch tolerance, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
