Tiffen Digital Diffusion/FX 2 72mm Filter

The Tiffen Digital Diffusion/FX 2 72mm Filter is a softening and diffusion filter specifically designed to appear invisible, as if no filtration were being applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no flare or loss of contrast for more subtle applications. It helps minimise facial blemishes, wrinkles and gently softens textured backgrounds whilst maintaining sharp focus. Density 2 offers more softening than 1, but less than 3.
This filter is manufactured from Water White glass and made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
