Tiffen 77mm Digital Diffusion/FX 1 Filter

The Tiffen 77mm Digital Diffusion/FX 1 filter is a softening and diffusion filter specifically designed to be invisible, as if no filtration were applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no glare or loss of contrast for more subtle applications. It helps to soften facial imperfections, wrinkles and gently softens textured backgrounds whilst maintaining sharp focus. Density 1 offers more softening than 1/2, but less than 2.
This filter is constructed from Water White glass and is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it onto precision metal rings.
